Bee Sanderson Jewellery, henceforth known as ‘BSJ’, is a sole trader of uniquely designed and hand crafted jewellery, and is wholly owned by me.

I would like to assure you that I take your privacy, data protection and security very seriously and that I am fully committed to protecting any personal information that you provide to me or BSJ in accordance with current Data Protection regulations.

This privacy policy explains how BSJ uses the personal data provided by you, when you use my website or provide me in person, and how that data is securely protected.

By using BSJ’s website, or by providing me with any personal information by any other means, I will assume you are agreeing to your information being used and disclosed in the ways described in this policy.

What data does BSJ collect?

 

My Company collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information relating to your orders and enquiries (e.g. name, email address, shipping address and any other contact details provided by you.)

  • Your anonymous browsing history including your IP address and pages visited.

  • I do NOT collect or store any personal financial information such as credit card or bank account details. All such information is handled and processed by the third-party payment processors selected by your at check-out (Apple Pay, Stripe or PayPal). This information is not shared with me.

How BSJ collects your data?

You directly provide My Company with all of the data collected. Data is collected and processed when:

  • You place an order (online or in person) for any of my products or services.

  • You voluntarily subscribe online or provide me with any contact details via email or directly.

  • Via your browser’s cookies when you use, view or browse BSJ website .

  • You provide me with any additional information, for the purpose of transacting an order or service.

  • You provide me personally with any data through direct interaction at trade and craft shows or events.

How BSJ uses your data?

My Company collects your data so that it can:

  • Process your order or enquiry.

  • Provide you with information about my jewellery and events that I think you might be interested in.

  • Your personal data will not be NOT shared with any third-parties unless their is a legal requirement to do so, or to enable BSJ to enforce or apply our terms and conditions or rights under an agreement, or to protect BSJ, for example, in the case of suspected fraud or defamation.

How BSJ stores your data?

BSJ securely stores any personal data provided electronically. All data is password protected and is accessible to only 2 people (myself, as business owner, and my business’ website and data protection administrator).

BSJ will keep your contact and order details for up to 5 years since your last interaction with it. Once this time period has expired, your data will be deleted through the process of an annual purge of BSJ’s records by the website and data protection administrator.

Marketing

Personally I would like to send you information about my jewellery and events that I think you might be interested in.

You have the right, at any time, to request that BSJ refrain from contacting you or sending you this information.

I would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every client is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request BSJ for copies of your personal data. You may be charged a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that BSJ correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request My Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that BSJ erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that BSJ restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to BSJ’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that BSJ transfer the data that it has collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
